The Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) is a public state university. The university is located in the city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India and administered under the state legislature of the government of Uttar Pradesh. The university was established in the month of February 10, 1921. The university is one of the oldest universities in India. The university has more than 227 affiliated colleges spread over 6 districts in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The university offers a range of professional and academic courses. It has many departments in many fields such as arts, science, commerce, law, computing, management, Humanities, Social Science, social work, commerce & management, science & technology, education, law and medical science.
